Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kismetify (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Kismetify website and app (the “Service”). We aim to collect as little as we need to run the Service well.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image to create and identify your account.
• Content you create. Goals, journal entries, affirmations, vision-board items, reading and meditation progress, and your messages to the AI coach.
• Subscription information.Your plan status. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are collected and processed by Polar, not by us — see “Payments” below.
• Technical data. Basic logs and device/browser information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

• to provide, personalize, and maintain the Service;
• to power features such as your AI coach, streaks, and progress;
• to manage your subscription and entitlements;
• to secure the Service and prevent abuse; and
• to communicate with you about your account or important changes.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI coach

When you message the AI coach, your messages (and limited context such as a goal you have set) are sent to our third-party AI provider, DeepSeek, to generate a response. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal, medical, or financial details with the coach. Use of the AI provider is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

4. Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Polar(polar.sh), our Merchant of Record. Polar collects and handles your payment information and applicable taxes. We receive only the information necessary to manage your subscription status (for example, whether your plan is active). Please review Polar’s privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.

5. Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to operate the Service, including:

• Google — authentication (sign-in).
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
• Neon — database storage.
• DeepSeek — AI coach responses.
• Polar — payments and tax (Merchant of Record).

These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their part of the flow.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your content within the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We may retain limited records where required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@kismetify.cc.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to limit access to it.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International users

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
